We had a little workshop at work to do some graphic florals. I made these using cut up magazines and some ink. Fun times had by all!

Goodbye, Emily.

Our good friend, Emily, one of the sweetest and bestest people in Cleveland, just left for San Francisco. (If I were a less selfish person, this is where I'd wish her all the happiness in the world and best of luck with her dreams. But instead I'm just going to say I miss her already and things won't be the same without her.)

As a goodbye gift, our group of friends all illustrated themselves and combined them together. So now Emily has an image of us and an image of our art in one handy framed piece. (Yours truly is the one holding the cupcakes and iPhone.)

This Is Too Cute.


As some of you may remember, I made some those 8-Bit Mario and Luigi ornaments for a silent auction in December.

Well, the woman who bought them got them for her son, and he drew this for her. The little guy really loved them, she later told me. I can’t think of a better person to have gotten them. :)
